The hacker withdrew about $ 1.5 million from the Omni protocol
The unknown stole assets for more than 1300 ETH (~ $ 1.48 million) at the OMNI lending protocol using the re -entry attack.
The platform provides the opportunity to borrow funds on the key NFT. Hacker used tokens from the Doodles collection to attack.
The attacker used a loan received on a loan in cryptocurrency to buy more NFT. He brought the latter, without returning borrowed funds, thanks to vulnerability.
The hacker sent stolen assets to the Tornado Cash mixing service.
The Omni team said that the protocol is at the beta testing stage, so the incident did not touch.
