Eight US regulators have charged Nexo
A group of state regulators of the United States announced the filing of lawsuits against the Nexo cryptolending platform.
The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation of California demanded that the creditor terminate the provision of services on the territory of the state. He qualified the percentage cryptocurrency accounts offered by the platform as unregistered securities and ordered to stop their maintenance.
As of July 31, 2022, more than 18,000 residents of California have active accounts with a flexible or fixed term for receiving interest income. Together, at least $ 174.8 million is stored on them, the department claims.

Blockfi, as part of the conflict settlement, paid $ 100 million fines. Voyager and Celsius have submitted bankruptcy statements.
