In December 2021, Opium Protocol developers introduced the NFT dutra of Cheshire cats. The latter can also be used to pass the KYC procedures.
BAB-SoulBound-Tokens launched by Binance in September 2022. The exchanges completed the verification customers release these assets on the BNB Chain network. They allow you to confirm the accounting data.
According to the press release, the NFT batteries of BAB holders will receive a special color in the style of Binance. Their owners will be able to interact with certain products, to which other users do not have access.
“Projects will know that the yellow cat can only belong to the one who has passed the verification on Binance. This means that this person is real and does not live in the USA or other jurisdiction banned on the platform, ”the statement said.
In a conversation with FORKLOG, the founder of Opium Protocol Andrei Belyakov noted that for some projects the issue of blocking prohibited jurisdiction is a problem.
“Many projects are forced to solve the problem of blocking the American market differently. At the VPN level, this has become much more difficult, because Apple recently introduced the Private Relay function, which does not allow the use of previous geo-blocks, ”he explained.
Belyakov added that the integration of NFT auto with BAB will help teams who are forced to conduct compliance. According to him, the Defi sector will not be able to become mature or replace the traditional financial system if it does not correspond to the simplest regulatory practices.
“We see that supervisory authorities can still regulate Defi by a very rough force method. To prevent this from happening, the community should come to simple self -regulation and comply with local laws. This does not contradict innovation, just no one can present a really large alternative financial system that does not comply with the basic laws that prevent financial crimes, ”said the founder of Opium Protocol.
Recall that in June 2022, 1inch Network integrated the liquidity pools of the cryptocurrency derivatives of the Opium Protocol in his decentralized application.
